What is factCHAT?

The factCHAT is an internet-based chat. It allows you to chat (exchange text messages) with other users, who are using the factCHAT at the same time as you do. The factCHAT is a Java Applet, that is shown on the web page, that you load with your browser. You don't need any special software installed to use factCHAT.

You can use an Internet Explorer or Netscape browser (version 4 or higher) to run factCHAT. If you are under Mac OS, you should run Internet Explorer to use factCHAT. Also, if the Program fails to start, you may need to download the latest version of the MRJ (Java for Mac) from the Mac OS web site.
