Login and user-name/color features.

After you enter the page with the factCHAT applet, the applet will start to load. The text "factCHAT is loading" will appear. After the applet is loaded, it will connect to the server and download information about the current chat-rooms. You should have chosen your user-name from the previous page by then.

When the download process is finished, You will be presented with a list of chat-rooms, like this:

In this list, you can see the chat-rooms available. For each chat-room, there is an icon, indicating the activity (how much users are chatting at the moment. Also, to the right of each icon, the chat-room name, description, users online and maximum users online at the moment. You can scroll the list (if comes necessary) with the arrow buttons to the right. To select a chat-room, click on it's icon.

After you have done that, the factCHAT will download the users that are in that chat-room at the moment. After the download is complete, the choose color mode will appear:

On this screen, you can choose your color. Other user's colors are displayed as blank boxes. You cannot choose a color, that is already in use by another user. If another user has the same name as yours, your user-name will be automatically changed. To choose your color, click on the desired color-box.

After you have chosen your color, the factCHAT will download the latest messages sent in this chat-room, and then you will be logged in, and able to chat.

Note: If you are a member of a private chat-room, you will not be presented with the chat-rooms list, and will be redirected immediately to the choose color screen.
